GYNG CLG provide further education and training opportunities in the
Gorey, Co Wexford area through its Local Training Initiative (LTI)
programmes in both Gorey & Courtown. Our LTI?s are funded by the
WWETB. GYNG are inviting applications for the following posts:
LTI GOREY COORDINATOR
The LTI Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of a Level 4
and level 5 Information Communication Technology (ICT) Programme and a
Level 4 & 5 Sports & Recreation Programme, therefore experience of
both would give the ideal candidate and advantage.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
* A recognised qualification in training/education, educated to
degree level
* Experience of management or co-ordination in a community education
setting.
* Minimum of three years working with QQI/FETAC accreditation.
* Have a positive attitude and approach to working with young
people, their colleagues, funders, and all stakeholders.
* Have a good understanding of issues that can be a barrier to a
persons learning and solutions that can enhance their experience.
* Have a full driving license
* Garda Vetting will be processed.
TERMS:
Full time post **Apply on the website**.5 hours per week for the
programme duration. Annual Leave **Apply on the website** days per
annum. Subsequent Programmes are subject to funding. Salary as per the
WWETB LTI Co-ordinator rate.

PANEL OF TUTORS
GYNG are seeking to recruit a Panel of Tutors for our three LTI
programmes that operate in Gorey & Courtown. Employment will be based
on a specific purpose contract to deliver tuition on agreed
programmes. All periods of employment are offered on an annual basis
subject to funding.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
* Expert knowledge of subject areas required for the LTI programmes-
ICT, Sports & Recreation, Trade Skills, Hair & Beauty and Soft/Core
Skills.
* Third Level Qualification in training/education
* Recognised Training Qualification
* Experience of working in a Community Education Setting
* Have a positive attitude and approach to working with young
people, their colleagues, funders, and all stakeholders.
* Have experience in preparing courses, individual lessons plans and
have an understanding of classroom management.
* Have a full driving license - Garda Vetting will be processed
TERMS
Ad hoc hours for the delivery of specific modules to meet the needs of
the LTI programme and the learners, for an agreed period of time
throughout the programme.
Annual Leave and salary as per the WWETB Tutor rate.
